For the first time, treasury-funded MDAs may soon enjoy gratuity in addition to pensions!
This development followed a high-level meeting held on June 13, 2025, in Abuja, where the Director General of PenCom, Ms. Omolola Oloworaran, paid a courtesy visit to the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack.
What’s Changing? The proposed Gratuity Scheme will offer civil servants 100% of their last gross annual pay as a gratuity upon retirement.
This is a major push to reward those who’ve served Nigeria diligently.
